AF School 3BRD was established in 1979 as a primary school. It was later upgraded to the secondary level after obtaining affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 1997. In 2021, the school achieved another significant milestone by upgrading to the senior secondary level following recognition from CBSE. The school is currently affiliated with CBSE until March 31, 2031 (Affiliation Number: 2680002).
Air Force School 3BRD is an English-medium, co-educational institution operated by 3 Base Repair Depot, Chandigarh. Affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, the school primarily serves the children of Air Force personnel while also welcoming civilian students. It offers education from Nursery to Grade 12.
The school is dedicated to prepare students for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. It strives to instil values of tolerance, understanding, and respect for diverse customs and traditions. Additionally, it aims to cultivate independent thinking, self-reliance, and social responsibility among students.
